ABOUT US
MEL TRA PRESIDENT/OWNER
Mel is the president and owner of Tra Electric. He founded the company in 1998. Mel oversees all aspects of the business, is an estimator, and has 45 years of experience in electric construction and AutoCAD. Mel was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1975. After earning a degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology, he worked in electrical field and design work for many years before opening Tra Electric.
JEFF FOGLEMAN VICE PRESIDENT/FIELD DIRECTOR
Jeff has been with Tra Electric since 1998, and became the field director for Tra Electric in October of 2011. He has broad experience in electrical construction, estimating, and field supervision, and is in charge of scheduling, managing and safety.
TOBY NEFF PROJECT MANAGER/PENNDOT
Toby has 35 years of experience in the electrical construction field, and has been with Tra Electric since 2007. He works as our estimator and project manager for traffic signal and roadway lighting projects and is IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level 1 certified. Toby maintains and repairs traffic signals in the five-county area. He has extensive experience in roadway lighting installation, parks and recreational light installation, airport lighting, aerial construction and underground conduit and trench installation.
Scott Rudy estimator/PROJECT MANAGER
Scott has been with Tra Electric since 2002. Starting as an electrician helper, moving up the ranks to foreman and became an estimator/project manager in 2020. His on-the-job experience working in the field has helped him in his new position.
JODY COOPER OFFICE MANAGER
Jody has 31 years of experience in the construction industry. She oversees all aspects of the business side of Tra Electric.
